The Sanctuary
"Welcome to the Sanctuary," Isis says appearing in human form. "This is where we keep all the animals that we rescue, mostly Minidragons. When they first arrive they are scared and deeply scarred. I've built this place so they can recouperate in peace." You look around the large garden-like area. You wouldn't mind living here. The walls are covered with vines, there are several large shade trees over on one end and on the other end a small building for shelter from the elements. In the center is a small fountain.
"We currently have one permanent resident and we've just rescued a burgandy female named Ellissa. Our permanent resident is Remoss, who was abandoned himself. He wanted to stay here and help other abandonlings recover." She smiles. "Here he comes!"
A yellow dragon flies up and lands infront of you. *Hello stranger! I'm Remoss, like Isis said. She rebonded me after I was abandoned by last my bond* he becomes quite...*Anyway, I am very happy here, and I even have a mate! Her name is Adiva. A pretty pink! There is a new dragon here. Her name is Ellissa. I hope I can help her, but she doesn't seem to want to be helped right now...* He frowns. *I remember what it was like being abandoned...It's - It's not fun...*
"Now there's a sweet little boy," Isis says. "He's come a long way. I'm so proud of him. Here, why don't we go meet Ellissa?" She leads to the small house. "Now you must be very quiet, she's easily spooked. Er- I say spooked but she tends to er- attack rather than run away..." Isis opens the door and lets you in, closely following you. You see the little burgandy huddled in a corner. When she spots you she opens her wings and tries to look threatening.
"Shh shhh, it's okay, it's okay..." Isis coos, she whispers to you: "I think we better go. She looks like she getting agitated." she leads the way outside. "Oh dear I don't know about her...I do hope she recovers well...Here are their scrapbooks." She shows you two small leather bound books.
